The hydraulically lowerable operator's canopy epsPlus (Easy Protection System Plus)
Convenient solution with enormous time savings!
Since 2009, it has no longer been permitted to deliver any farm loaders with roll bars, since the European Machine Directive (2006/42/EC) in addition to the existing ROPS protection (Roll Over Protective Structure) also requires a FOPS protection (Falling Object Protective Structure). According to this directive, the operator must not only be protected from the machine overturning, but must also be protected from possible falling objects.
That is why at Weidemann all models from the 11 to the 17 Hoftrac series are fitted out with a permanently attached operator's canopy as a standard. However, if you still want to pass below through clearance heights of well below 2 metres, the permanently attached operator's canopy is usually too tall.
For a number of years already, Weidemann has been successfully offering the fold-down operator's canopy eps (Easy Protection System), which is prepared for a low clearance height with a few easy steps.
We sought after an even more convenient solution in the course of the design and development. The latest solution from Weidemann: The hydraulically lowerable operator's canopy epsPlus (Easy Protection System Plus)!
The optionally available epsPlus is a hydraulically lowerable operator's canopy, which the operator can operate from his seat. It solves the problem of low clearance heights and considerably facilitates work on the job. The epsPlus is a convenient solution with enormous time savings and high safety standards.
