Stallschlepper

Loader

Loaders are relatively small and go into livestock buildings but also tackles tasks around the farmyard, feeding the livestock and mucking out free stalls and open lots regularly. Thanks to their compact design they provide effective work even in very confined space such as horse stables. They also handle and spread saw dust, sand, straw and hay as well as wood chips in riding halls. Loaders makes work around the yard much easier and often replaces one man.

Loaders are universal machines that owe their versatility to their ability of using a wide range of attachments including buckets, silage grabs, pelican buckets, crocodile buckets and feeder containers as well as round bale garbs and mowers. Equipped with a snow dozer, compact tractors are also used in snow clearance during winter.

Most loaders are robust four wheel drive tractors to operate in rough terrain. Their compact size enables them to easily pass under narrow gates. While their single big advantage is their enormous manoeuvrability, their narrow wheelbase presents a higher risk of overturn than bigger tractors. To counter this deficit, most loaders have a safety cab or special rollover bars.
