Tire name

The names for tires may seem cryptic at first glance; however, they are generally made up of schematic details. What it has in terms of the offset, and what the numbers and letters in the tire name represent are explained in the following examples.

Explanation of offset

The inside of the rim left, the outside of the rim right, and the dotted line indicates the axle.

  • ET30 = If a narrow tire with a positive offset is selected, the tire will not widen the overall width of the machine, where applicable. This is suitable if the machine need to pass through narrow routes.
  • ET0 = A compromise between a narrow machine width and good stability.
  • ET-30 = If a tire with a negative offset is selected, the tire will not widen the overall width of the machine, where applicable. A wide tire and contact area increases stability.
